He describes his style of painting as modern impressionist. Subject matter can be landscapes or still life.
An advanced woodcarver. Carvings are mostly in miniature, many of a single piece of wood. Subject matter taken from nature; herds of buffalo or horses. These can fit into the palm of your hand. Other subjects are birds or fishes, religious figures and the occasional bus or truck that carries interesting cargo. These express his sense of humor. Many carvings have been cast into bronze.
